I am staying at Caribe Blu now. Jeanie was out of pocket for a few days as she was driving from Missouri to Cozumel, and when she got here Saturday she had some 300 emails to slog through. I don't know what she does about the US phone when she is here, but she is responsive to email, or at least she will be when she gets caught up.

Gordon ... how long is Jeanie down for this time? We won't be down till mid-Feb, so I wasn't sure if we'd catch her this trip ....

...The dive shop is fully operational and providing its usual high quality service. The staff and management has done a great job getting the hotel up to top form. It is one of the most completely operational hotels on the island.

Thanks for the super update! Questions: does this mean they rebuilt the shop next door? It looked like that entire structure was erased in the pic's posted after the hurricane. How about the little restaurant above the shop? My wife and I absolutely loved having a lazy, late lunch up on the deck there after coming back from diving. It was one of our favorite parts of the day.

Aa777888, go see Blue Angels updated website. They have pictures of the "new" dive shop already restored, as well as pictures of Caribe Blu's ongoing restoration. It is looking good, cant wait to get down there in April.
