A group of us are looking for something different. We like the style, ambience, and the shore diving of CoCoView of Roatan. We also liked the great shore diving on Bonaire. We like the ability to set our own schedules and dive a bunch. Where else in the Caribbean can we find this style of diving?

Curacao.

Also add most of the Caymans.

Second the recommendation of Curacao. We stayed at the Marriott, rented a car and shore dove for a week. Kind of spoils you to acually sleep in on vacation instead of catching an 8am boat!

You might also look into St Croix. I've never been there, but two dive ops at Sea Space told me that there was great shore diving at their ops. They were both located on the part of the north part of the island where the wall comes close into shore.

You have seen the best resort based shore dive in the Caribbean, CoCoView.

You have seen the island with the best shore diving in the Caribbean, Bonaire.

Best in the Carribean? Maybe the best in the world.

I think you're already seen the best that the Mar Caribe has to offer.

Otherwise... it's called a live-aboard.
