This thread is directed toward commercial divers or those who look at diving as more than just a hobby. Anyway, my question is, can you make a good careeer out of diving? What type of commercial diving is there?
 
Yeah you can do allright
commercial diving around here..
there are people who do pretty will just doing shallow stuff like morings and boat bottoms..
theres ship work. inspections of ships and underwater structures
underwater construction work (old jamestown bridge thye thing)
research. search and recovery. unfowling fishing gear
theres all kinds of stuff. alot of people will generally work in one area of it tho
