Hello, my dad, a friend (who actually certified me), and I are going to Hyannis on Thursday 07/24/03. I have been looking on the internet all day, I have found a few helpful sites, but I have a question for all of you. Are there any charters or boat services for dives off or near Hyannis. Actually anywhere in the area is fine. And any recommended, sites, and I did read the other thread. PLEASE HELP. Any help at all is much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Also, I know about Cape Cod Charters.

There is one guy I contacted last year. Billy DiSilva of Little Squirt Charters. He's got a "six pack" and goes out of Sandwich harbor.
It's not his full time thing but he does go out to some of wreck dives in area.

Let us know how you make out. I'll be spending most of August at my in-laws place in Dennisport and will want to do some charters.

I hope he can do it, but it is on the way home, so maybe. Anyway, he may have to do shore dives, if the weather holds up. Thanks though.

Shore dives? Not worth it. Sandy, Shallow. Garbage Beach in Woods Hole maybe.. (search previous post by large_diver on this board)

I think at one time there used to be a lot of Diver operators operating out of Cape.. Lack of business, high cost of operation drove them out of business?

Good luck

COntact Mike Walls at The DIve Locker, in Hyannis.

www.capedivelocker.com Phone is 508-775-1185...

Thats probably the best shop on the Cape, and it used to be an East Coast Divers until it closed almost two years ago. Mike is a former employee of ECD-Hyannis, and ECD-Brookline. GIve him a call...

He should be able to point you in the right direction...

Thanks for your help. Thanks to everybody. What a great board. I will tell you all how it went. I think we have been to that shop last time we went. Right now it seems like Sandwich Beach then Hathaway Pond to wash off. Thanks again.

I am with LUBOLD. Mike Walls at The Dive Locker in Hyannis is the best shop in the area. I have taken all my training with him and am thoroughly impressed with him and the operation he runs.
