Anyone going to be diving tomorrow around noon? I'm doing a scallop/bug dive in the morning and was thinking of doing a lobstah dive afterwards up on Cape Ann. Looking to be "wet" again by 12:30. Need to get home to sell my old truck.

WAY too busy here at the station:D This is why I need to dive!

.

There was another thread about diving the same day. Hope you found a buddy and are diving as I write this!

The weather is great today. I wish I could have joined you but I decided to go to open houses today instead. Tough choice!

Mine was for today (Sunday). I screwed up the date :D

True, but Reefseal was trying to find a buddy for Sunday in that thread. Diving on Father's Day is rare, I guess. It was a beautiful day.

A buddy of mine in Maine invited me to join him and another buddy in Portsmouth Channel. Got 3, yes 3 awesome dives in! First was Harts Cove in New Castle Island. (to left Fort Constitution Coast Guard pier) 2nd dive was an artifact hunt at Sara Long Bridge for old bottles. (North end on Maine Side) This you have to time for slack which is about 1 and 15 min after high tide. Found old antique bottles AND A GUN!!!! Yes, a real gun. We dropped of at Portsmouth Police department. It didn't have the clip.

3rd dive is one of my favs. Pierce Island. It's a wall dive. All in all, a good day. I got it out of my system. I'm curious who dove Cape Ann today and what conditions were like there.

I looked at Bass Rocks but there were 5' breakers and the water looked like a mocha-chino;) We decided to go to Hoop Pole since it was high tide. Conditions weren't much better but my buddy really wanted to go so......

Lots of surge
1' of seafood salad covering the bottom
5' vis
50° at depth

Got one lobster so it was worth it.
