I am the producer of a tv show callled "Expedition New England" and I am planning to film a documentary episode about marine life in Cape Ann on Sept 10 and 11 . My wife and 5 year old daughter are not divers yet so I am looking for other families in the same situation. We staying at the Vista Motel in Gloucester. If you are interested in diving with me please let me know.
I am possibly going to do a boat dive through Cape Ann divers and may also go for a night dive too.

Any one interested in being a part of the show? :D

I might be interested in heading up there with you. Any ideas on a charter? I bet I could convince Chris (RIOceanographer) to come as well with little effort :)

-- Matt

PS: We met at Wetherill a couple of weeks ago, right? Sorry, my memory is horrible

Matt, yes I remember you, this is Scott Tucker. It would be great if you could make it. I have hired the services of a dive master and booked space on a charter to Keddle Island & Picketts Ledge, meeting at Cape Ann Divers (tell- 978-281-8082) 7am Saturday Sept 10. I bet they still have space on the boat. My cell is 203-641-8543

See if you can get someone to show or help you find a Great Northern Red Anemone and the nicest nubribranch you can find. A nice report for those areas would be nice. Have a safe dive Scott. I'll think I'm going for the tropicals though you are heading for a colorful area.

Take care

Chris

Can't make Cape Ann next weekend (hoping to go down the last weekend of Sept), but if you ever want to do an episode on Lake Champlain's wrecks, PM me and I'll give you a hand with logistics etc.

i have yet to see one of those, i have only dove from the left to the very tip of the point on the left west side.. next time i go im planning on diving in front of hte tip, i hear thats where it gets deep

i have seen Frilled Sea anemones, some coral, and also tons and tons of star fish along with urchins, and colorful small reef fish , and occasional stripers
