We're considering a trip to Canyon Lake soon for a bit of diving at North Shore park. Has the drought affected the diving? Is it still a viable dive site? Thanks!

Do not know what the visibility is like right now because we have had @1.5 inches of rain this week (yeah), but the water should be plenty deep despite the drought. You should also know the park closes for the season on Sept 30th. You might give Paul, at Canyon Lake Divers, a call (830) 964-3075) as he has a dive shop in Sattler (south side of the lake) and no doubt has up to date information that can help you.
