Can't view pictures. Box with red X.

A lot of times, when someone inserts a picture in their post, it just comes up for me as a small box with a red X. But many pictures do show up.

Is there some setting I need to fix or software I need to have loaded in order to view these pictures?

You work for the government, don't you! :lol:

You get the red X when the site on which the picture is hosted is blocked by your network security.

For example: photobucket, lolcats, lamebook, and youtube are blocked by our base. videos will show up as a white square, pictures will show up as a red X.

Now, should this be happening at home, then you have some sites blocked according to your own settings.

If you want to know what site the picture is on, just "quote" the post and look at the link in the image.
