Canon WP-DC21 housing for G9

I just purchased a new Canon G9, but am unable to find the WP-DC21 housing for it. It appears to be on national backorder and Canon has even removed it from their online store. Does anyone have any information as to when we can expect Canon to ship housings to the USA?

I just bought one from B & H, but I had been on a "notify when in stock" list.

How long did you have to wait while on the list?

I can't say for sure but a guess is 3 to 4 weeks. I could find the housing at several reputable camera gear web sites but many wouldn't ship it to Canada or wanted excessive shipping costs. I buy from B & H about once of twice a year & ordered the housing along with a ring flash plus some small stuff that had to be special ordered which took another 2 weeks after placing my order.

Thanks for your help. I ordered one from Hong Kong on ebay. Hopefully, I'll see it within the next week.

Great news. My housing arrived from Hong Kong in only 3working days. It is brand new in original, unopened package.
