Canon Underwater

Hello,

I am looking into getting a Canon camera, either the GL2 or the XL1s. Which is better for underwater shooting? Any suggestions or comments on either of the two? Thanks in advance.

Well I purchased a GL2 and am now looking for a housing for it.

congrats.... for what it's worth..... i have the XL1 in a GATES housing and love it.....

right now i am leaning towards the Equinox Propak 8. They seem to have the best respose and ability to add controls for a reasonable price. Would love to get a Gates, but for the added price I think I will get a Firestore for above water use. Hmmm maybe it will fit into the housing also, that would be grand.
