Canon SD600

Im looking for an underwater housing for a canon sd600, aside from the canon product. I know i should have made sure this camera had a housing before purchasing it. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks

How different is the 600 from the 550 ??

Im note sure, i guess i can take it to Best Buy and compare the button placement. I emailed Ikelite and they replied and said they never produced a housing for the 600. How unlucky could i have gottne with this particular model??

From an underwater housing standpoint, they are completely different.

Housings push buttons within. If the buttons don't line up 100%, it won't work. And that assumes it will even close.

Sadly, the only option is to buy a housing made specifically for your model of camera. On rare occasions there will be cameras that have sizes and layouts that don't change from model to model, but that's very rare, and not the case here.

For some cameras, more than one manufacturer may make a housing (Ikelite or Fantasea, for instance). They only do that for a select few cameras, however, and that's not the case with the SD600.

CantDiveEnough, the only option for your SD600 is the Canon shell.
