Canon S230 and Nikonos SB 105?

Hi there,

I own a Canon S230 and I am thinking of adding a external flash.
Does the Nikonos SB105 work with my camera or has anybody some different suggestions?

I have not played with the S230, does it have a preflash like most digital cameras? From what I can tell the SB105 does not have the abilty to ignore the first flash and will have discharged before the actual picture is taken. Look instead at the Sealife SL960D, the Ikelite DS-51 or the Sunpak G-Flash. They are designed for the digital pre-flash.
