Hey Ish, well since it's a powershot camera you be almost certain that Canon will release an underwater housing for it

..EDIT - Have you considered the Canon A610/A620 or S80 I think they're in the same price range...
it isn't for me though, my friend needed a camera, but he couldn't wait for the underwater housing, so he got the a620 instead. . .
