Canon G9 - save time in RAW??

I have an Oly SP350, it takes 8 seconds to save the RAW file to a high speed card. Could someone who has a G9 possibly time how long it takes to save out a RAW file please. (And post results)

The difference is time is not even close. I have/had an Oly 5060 and 7070 and now have a G9. The G9 records 12mp RAW in 2-3 seconds. I do not have wait between shoots as a result of time to save RAW files. I do have to wait some time for the 5060 and 7070 - and both those cameras generate shots "smaller" than the G9.
