I think the G7X is a better camera with a much larger 1" sensor than either the S90-S-120 or the G14-16 series. Much faster AF, video and a lot more. Does better macro than the RX100s too.

In terms of the housings, the Fantasea G7X is a good quality housing for the money ($500), smaller and with easy to read and use controls. Will be fine for macro with their snap on 67mm lens holder. But where it falls down is wide angle; due to the square port you are limited to their Big Eye lens, which is not all that great of quality. You can't use the 67mm holder with other 67mm w/a lenses it will badly vignette and be useless.

The Ike G7X housing is ok, a bit awkward and bulky, heavier too. But it has a robust build, metal controls and the ability to use their lenses. Cool news is that the Ike G7X just went on instant rebate of $75 off, so it's $475 for the next month.

The best G7X housing by far is the Nauticam, ($1100) as it has interchangeable ports and can also be used with external lenses, it is small with excellent controls, aluminum construction, and also has the vacuum leak detection system available.

We stock them all!
