I bought a Sea & Sea strobe to go with my Canon A75 and WP-DC30 UW enclosure. Has anyone mounted a strobe w/ optical cable and mask to this camera? Should I remove the diffuser assembly from the enclosure body or mount to the assembly? Any info would be appreciated.

Don't know about the Sea & Sea strobe, but I use an Inon with fibre optic cable. Inon has a clear photo sticky that goes over the internal flash before you stick the camera in the housing. I always forgot to use it and it worked just fine. I left the diffuser on the housing and just stuck the end of the fibre optic cable in the little opening of the diffuser box. If you are worried about it falling out, a bit of electrician's tape does the trick, though I usually forgot that, too, and didn't have any problems.

You can test that all on land or in the bathtub before you go :)

The Sea & Sea fiber cable comes with a screw flange. It is normally mounted onto the mask material, which you cut to fit your camera. This is then attached via velco which is put on the UW housing. The fiber cable is then plugged into the flange.

I went a little different route tonight. I removed the diffuser assembly and drilled a hole to mount the screw flange and then blacked out the diffuser. The assembly was then reinstalled

It works great and seems to be a good solid connection.
