Canon A630 housing, where to get??

Does anyone know where to get one?

I am leaving this saturday to go to the Bahamas and, of course, just remembered that i needed to get the housing. I have looked all over the internet and everyone says Backorder. I am wondering if anyone know someone or someplace that has them...

The Canon A630 is a discontinued model. Consequently, the Canon underwater housing designed for the A630 (WP-DC8) is also discontinued.
Ikelite used to make its own housing for the A630/640 listed as #6140.64. Once again, that housing has been discontinued. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

The only way you will find a housing for that camera is to stumble across a used one for sale on Ebay or Craigslist.

At this point, if you must have an underwater camera system for your Bahamas trip, I suggest you buy a new camera along with an UW housing designed for it. The Canon point-and-shoot cameras take very nice pictures. Good luck.

Also, that eBay listing for the new WP-DC8 by diversteve included "make offer". I'd make an offer, maybe in the range you can buy new current production Canon housings, ~$180.

One option would be a Canon SD1200IS in their housing. Around $315 for both at B&H Photo.

Or Amazon has both for $325. Given your timeframe I think they might get it to you faster.

It should work with the SD card from your A630 but you can also get a faster SDHC card for it.

I have really good luck with Amazon expedited shipping delivering on time.
