canon a620....wow

Finally got a hold of the new a620 and I must say wow. I have the a70 and the a620 focuses faster and shutter lag, to me anyway, is veeeeerrrrry short. Been playing around with it and I just love it .

It does have one drawback :11: . I can't find a housing so that I can use it UW for my upcoming trip . Will only be able to use it topside. Sucks. Really sucks.

Great!!! I have the A80 but I was wondering how much better the Digic II processor would be. It the shutter lag almost....instantanious? Also, it seams to have a much better video mode. Have you tried them all and how do they look? I love my A80 but I might have to upgrade Enjoy

Focusing is really fast but there is still a shutter lag. Can't really say it's instantaneous since I've never really played around with an SLR to compare it to. However, it's greatly reduced compared to my a70. I'm hoping to significantly decrease my fish butt shots once I get a housing for the cam.

As for the video mode, it's light years ahead compared to my 70. I bought a 1 gig card with the camera but will probably need another one since I'll probably will use the video mode underwater also.

Will be playing around with this cam for awhile to try figure out everything. Will try to post updates.

I knew there was a housing for it. There just wasn't any available to buy when I bought the cam. All the site I visited had them on backorder :15a: .
