hi everybody,
I shot only once u/w with a Canon 20D with an Ikelite housing and a 10-22mm. Nice lens but rather wide for the average reef fishes. So I'd like to use as a 'dive-around' my 28-70f2.8. Ikelite's website does have a dome port(5503.85) but indicates that zooming is not possible, which of course kills the flexibilty of the zoom. It is true that this lens is rather bulky. I noticed the same comment for some other lenses (24-70f2.8 e.g.).
So which other zoom lens have you used and that you can recommend, bearing in mind I'l like more of an average lenght.
thanks and happy diving

who is going to dive in the Maldives in November :-)

Herman, you might want to check the Sigma 17-70mm. I have this lens as a go around fish lens and like it a lot (inexpensive too), one big plus with this lens is how close it focuses (+/- 1:2.3 depending on camera).

Cheers
