I'm trying to find out if there's an underwater housing for the Cannon PowerShot SX200. I've been using an Intova IC 800 which is a good starter set for anyone who's intrested in an inexpensive compleat outfit. I got the sx200 and a I'm amazed that it has all the tools of the bigger SLRs in a very small compact body. It looks like it would be the perfect fit for an underwater housing but I haven't located one. I would appreciate any info anyone may have.:coffee:

This quote from Ikelite explains why super zooms are not good for an underwater camera:

"The camera's extremely long zoom range prevents the effective attachment of external wide angle conversion lenses. "

If you can live with that, you are good to go.

Thanks. I'm finding out that just because a camera is great on land doesn't mean it's good under water.
