There are many options you could go. I myself have ULCS arms and tray with INON Z-240 strobe. I got everything at reefphoto.com

I'm a huge S&S YS110a fan...with their arms... but both the INON and YS110a will work well.

I am using the Sea & Sea YS27-DX and am very happy with it. If you want to spend more and get the built in target light then go with the 110 alpha.

I will tell you from experience not to get a loc-line arm with the G10. It does not have enough range of motion for macro shots. Go with the more versatile ULCS or Sea & Sea type. I am using a generic tray/arm purchased off eBay.

How about the Sea & Sea YS-17, do you think it would work fine for non-professional people?

What arms to use?

Thanks!

I have the 2 x 5 inchs ULCS arms and 2 x 8 inch buoyancy arms and twin S & S YS 100a strobes. I like them. I use the DS TTL via fibre optics when in aperture mode for my macro mode and I am generally happy with the results. Given that you have the OEM housing, you will definitely be using the fibre optic route so the Ikelite strobes (which are excellent but heavy and expensive) would be your last option, unless you plan to eventually switch over to an Ike housing later.

Do you happen to have any close up pictures of your fibre optic cable and how it is connected? I'm still not 100% clear on how this works.

Thanks in advance

Anyone care to reveal their sources for arms like Ultralight but less expensive? :D
There are several sellers on ebay that sell arms and clamps made in China. Not bad looking but not as nice as ULCS. I understand that ULCS are expensive but they will outlast you and your kids. I have some arms from at least 10 years ago and they are still perfect looking.
