Anyone used the Cane Bay Superior Cottages? (as opposed to the Standard Cane Bay Cottages)

What was the cost per day?

How close is the water?

Is the snorkeling good or at least ok off the beach?

Is the beach big or teeny, good for relaxing??

What was the quality of the cottage in terms of cleanliness, adequacy for cooking, sleeping, relaxing?

Is there a grocery store close by?

Restaurants close by?

How does the cost of groceries and restaurant food compare with those in the midwest?

Did you rent a car?? How much did it cost per day?

Tns!!!!

Wow... anybody?!?! I keep checking back to see if someone answers. Cane Bay looks really interesting...

We were there several years ago sailing. The cottages look very nice and clean, wish we had stayed there instead of where we spent the 1st nite. Quito's, on the bay has everything, restaurant, bar, store, rooms, you name it. The bay is crescent moon shaped, very beautiful! Gorgeous beach, it had the tire swing made famous by Jimmy Buffett, when we were there. There were 3-4 restaurants on the bay. All of Tortola is fairly pricey as far as food, groceries go. You'll pay ~triple what you do in the states. Rum is very cheap! There's a rental car place there in Cane Garden, but good luck with him. Can't remember the cost, but it wasn't cheap. We had to deny some extra days charges on our credit card with that guy. Rent in Road Town or better yet, ahead of time on line with a major car rental co. Not sure about the diving from there, don't remember any dive shops, biggest diving is on Anegada. Enjoy!
