Cancun Underwater Sculpture Museum

Hey all,

My friend and I were going to be in Cancun area late December. We were curious about diving the Sculpture Museum:

Cancun Underwater Museum - MUSA Cancun Underwater Sculptures for diving and snorkeling.

Anyone know of dive shops that go here besides the one above? It sounds like this is a dive location near the shore. Is there a map of where its located or a dive shop nearby where we can rent gear and just go dive and check it out?

Hi Mutiny33. The answer to your question is NO
it's absolutely forbidden to rent gear and go by yourselves at the underwater museum from the shore. And nobody will rent you gear to go by yourselves. Besides that the spot it's not so closed, it is Manchones reef area. The price for two tanks dive (with a boat) is between 70 and 90 usd depending on the diveshop you choose to get there. For only one tank it's even cheaper. Regards
