We just got back spending the Thanksgiving weekend in Puerto Aventuras, diving with Dive Aventuras. Their facility is connected to the Omni Hotel in PA, and there is a condominium complex immediately adjacent. If you are sold on going to the Yucatan for your first dives, you will find Dive Aventuras to be a very laid-back, yet professionally managed operation, plus the resort area of PA is very user-friendly.
