I just don't log dives
Have a older Dacor Enduro BC not fancy but it travels good and only has about 40 dives on it but today after some dives i noticed a >small< Small pin hole leak inside the bottom of the BC on my pre dive check out, well did the dive only 40' no blow out! but on rinse down i inflated and noticed this pin hole leak an marked it.
Well this BC has no Bag's and I think its Nylon shell, can the leak be patched or should i toss it,
and if so what can i use.
Thanks
Brad
dive wet stay C :11: COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOl!

AquaSeal is often good for repairing small leaks like this. Cotol helps clean the area, and can speed up curing time.

Of course I'd try contacting Dacor first and see what they say.

I used Aquaseal on one i acquired. Cleaned the area with cotol first then layered it up over several days. So far so good, but it is only used in the pool, can't say how it will act deeper than 12 ft.

BTW, I purchased a kit to repair it and it contained Aquaseal, Cotol and some round patches. The kit was for repairing "drysuits and BCD's"

I do agree with contacting the manu for advice just to be safe.

Why would depth make any difference???

Didn't really think it would have any problems at depth (and other than looking like she was farting all the time) didn't give any problems, just didn't have any experience with it to go with. The wife bought herself a BC she likes and it now rides the closet.
