Can you mount a 'can' light using the DR 'Ramora' pony bottle system ?

....presently I'm mounting my DR 10 W HID can light by removing my right weight pocket, sliding my can light along the webbing, then rethreading my right weight pocket.....but I've been looking for a speedy and elegant alternative...I'm considering seeing if I can use the DR 'Ramora' pony bottle mounting system.....see this illustration at Scubatoys:

.....has anyone thought about or attempted this method ?
