I offered my use of a pail as an option. It allows me to get ready at leisure and be ready to jump in as soon as the ladder is dropped which gets me to the wreck before anybody has had an opportunity to screw up the viz.

Someone mentioned their approach to diving a drysuit in hot conditions and I responded to that.
