Can you crop your photos in camera with the canons?

I really like this feature in my current camera and wanted to know if you could do the same with a A640 or A710 is?

Not that I'm aware of. But why bother? Photoshop does it better anyway, and you'll never get the zoom level precision on a tiny 2.5" screen that you will on a full size computer monitor.

Sad to say no, they do not. If you are doing direct print you can trim your photos but it does not change the photo in memory,that's as close as you get.

There are a few reason i like this feature one is i enjoy posting pics of my home reef tank to some other boards and its easy to just snap a shot crop if needed and post it.
Thanks for the info. it seems like a good feature am surprised more cameras dont offer it.
