Hello everyone

I just got back from a great trip TO THE bAHAMAS. I got some good shots and even managed to beat the digital on occasion at the delay game. However, I missed a couple shot and quickly switched to movie capture. Is there any way to pull stills from movie clips.
thanks:)

I'm not sure, but I've been wondering the same thing. If so, it seems like the perfect way to get just the right shot.

I did the same thing with my Sony PC 110. Got some great video and wanted to get some stills on to the memory stick. Took me about 3 minutes to read the directions and it worked like a champ!

I suggest you read your manual and see, as I'd expect most of the other digital videocams to have the same feature.

There is definitely a way to capture stills from a movie clip. I have done this direct from video ( capture ) or from avi and mpg files. Depending on what format the movie clip is in, you may just need some editing software that can grab the image you like.

I am interested in the PC120, and was thining of the Light & Motion housing. What housing do you use and what made you decide this housing? Thanks!

Do you have a macintosh? It is very easy to capture frames in iMovie. Just download the part, scroll to the frame you want, and just select 'save frame' from the menu. You won't need the manual for iMovie. And it is very powerful. In fact it doesn't have a manual....

I do this all the time, I can create a tiff, or jpg from a video frame. I have built Power Point slides, etc. Yes, it takes some heavy duty equipment. Take a peek at my site http://www.delfin-uw.com/crevideo.htm click on screen shot previews and take a look. Most shots appear to be 35mm but most are actually grabs from video frames.
