Myself, Scott our video-ographer and a new buddy Markus did a first NE dive at Stonington point today. Vis was awsome maybe 30ft and temps 46 (comp readout). We saw some neat stuff a clam-spider crab fight were the clam had a hold of the crabs claw in whated looked as a stale-mate and a 2-1/2 + foot millipede burrowing into the sand. I've never seen a millipede this size and would like to know if anyone knows the name of this critter. Scott will put it into the next edition of his video Expedition New England and would be greatful for an ID.

Nice to be back in the water again eventhough my hands are gonna hurt for a few days.

Also, Markus found a blue fin and wonder if anyone lost one; though, I never told him Ide post his find here.

Thnaks.

Great

Thanks. I knew I could count on someone here.

Looks exactly like what we saw.

Much obliged

You didn't specify wether the fin was a left foot or a right foot  or are you using this for the finnless one to describe to you? :eyebrow:

It belongs to one fin.

I was afraid to ask but assumed it may be One fins fin. Ide hate to have it returned to him and force a nickname change after he's posted all those fine videos. It may be a left footed fin as it eas slightly toed pointing right.

Funny that you should mention bristle worms. I just saw one yesterday at Stage Fort Park, and this is the first encounter with such a critter in New England for me too...

Good to know Mr Current we were not the only ones as this to us was a neat little sighting.
