Can Oceanic Atom be switched between Imperial (feet/psi) and Metric (meters/bar)? How? Thank.

Yes. It’s under the SET U screen. Depressing the A and S buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds while in the SURFACE MODE, will access SET U (identified by the graphic SETU). Use the A button to go to the UNIT screen. Pressing and releasing the S button will toggle between Imperial and Metric.

Not really, to be honest. I was glad to get to examine the new Poseidon BeSea but I thought the product itself was rather disappointing. OTOH, The Panunee has some good deals and it was nice to see some old faces.

hi nratanachai and vie , I dive with a suunto eon and I have the same problem so I have the same frustration of converting to metric everytime.

We don’t have to convert every time—just set the preference and the Atom will “remember” the setting.

Hi Vie , maybe I should put that another way. Because my suunto is in imperial , and I dont know how to change it to metric , or even if it can be changed to metric , After every dive sesion I have to write down the dive profile and then convert it to metric before filling in my dive log.It seems like a lot of hassle , and it is , but I prefer my log in metric. Do you know anything about the suunto eon ?

I don’t, I’m afraid. The Suunto computers I’m familiar with is the Favor and Cobra. Sorry I can’t help you.
