I have a Bauer U1 from 1973.

My question is how large oxygen concentration can I send trough my compressor? I have a Nitrox stick and the possibility to pre mix the air with oxygen concentration up to 35-36%.

Do I have to use some specially engine oil if I shall use my compressor with a nitrox stick for nitrox filling?

Hi,

I also have a 1973 U1, and have been continuously blending with it for a few years. Maximum 40% O2. Swapped the oil for LM750 (a good synthetic on the Bauer approved oils list). If your compressor isn't already on synthetic oil, you might run into problems with it upon changeover - the synthetic disolves all the accumulations through the compressor. After changeover, I needed to replace my final stage valves, and also the final stage piston and sleeve.

If you havent already, consider buying Oxyhackers guide - I found it to be a great resource for playing with this stuff.
