The price for the Legend LX for me is dirt cheap so I figured why not just have all my regs the same. I belive the Calypso 02 doesn't have a din converter kit for it, am I right? If thats the case I can't use it. Why would it be a pain to to limit the legend to 70' and only with oxygen compatible gas? My shops air is O2 clean so I could use these regs as rec regs if I wanted and they would still be 100% O2 compatable.

"BTW, are you a reg technician?" I'm taking the aqualung and apeks class in 2 weeks.

The Calypso O2 does have a din kit. It should be available from any Aqua Lung dealer.
I'm not absolutely sure about the cost but I believe it is around $200.

I was told by Aqualung that there was no din kit.

I am using Poseidon Odins for doubles and stages. I also like the Apeks ATX-200 also, and I am considering switching over to the Apeks completely... However, I do like my Poseidon's...

The feeling is mutual......I own a couple of poseidons (both jetstream and cyklons)....liked them very much and still use them though. I also use a couple of Apeks TX100s for my backgas...

I was told by Aqualung that there was no din kit.

FOr whatever reason, Aqualung does not offer the Calypso O2 with DIN. They wont certify the DIN for use with 100% O2. However, the APEKS TX-40 Nitrox version from Aqualung/Seaquest you can get a DIN for, and they say its fine to use with up to 100% O2...

Go figure...

What I ended up doing was ordering ATX50's with DS4's for my deco's. I'll just clean them for 100%. The TX40 Nitrox comes with a Turret 1st stage and I wanted to avoid that.
