It's a no frills Bauer K14 and year of manufacture can be found on the block just below the red oil filler cap which will look something like 91 / 1234 / 07 where the numbers denote year/ serial/ variant.

Spin the compressor between 1100 and 1350 RPM and you'll be fine. 1200 is what it started out at.

The specs. I have apply to a K14 mod.7

FAD electric
950 rpm = 7.4cfm 5hp motor

1,300 rpm = 9.2cfm 7.5hp motor

1,500 rpm = 11.5cfm 10hp motor

I believe your model specs designations are different to ours, ie; you probably have mod 85 etc.

Google scubaengineer and expand your Bauer knowledge.

Thanks for all the responses. Its not my compressor, but i have been commisioned to get it set up to run properly. It had been set up with an 11 hp honda armed with an 8" pulley. The engine simply couldnt keep up and would stall.

I reduced it to a 5" pulley and the pump turns 1100 rpm at full throttle. Pump and engine sound very happy now.

What is the highest psi that this will safely push?

Currently there is no pressure switch or final seperator. Does anyone have a good source for these items?

Thanks again!

The highest safe psi is 5000 for the K14

A 13hp honda is required to get 11+ cfm with an 8" pulley,

Others more local can help you with final separator etc.
