That Fuji is nice! and the price is right. How close to the subject can you take pictures, I didn't see the macro distances on the spec sheet. also, how long if the shutter lag? What kind of facilities does it have for external strobes?

Lag is very very small, images are lovely and the macro is very good. Better when you pop it in an Ike housing with a couple of Inon macro lenses!
 
Macro is something like 3 inches away. Very close and has great detail. chrissyt.smugmug.com has pictures (underwater and not) all taken with the F810. My underwater pics are under the Hawaii folder. I'm a newby so don't blame the camera for pic quality as it was all about MY skills :wink:
