Tricky issue, prior to now I used to take my Video Camera if I was going somewhere for a long diving trip (i.e. week in Bonaire) camera for "one off" dives (like going to Hawaii and might get a dive or two in).

Now I don't have to worry since my new camera takes 5mp stills and 640x480x30fps and is nice and small so I just take that and shoot whichever I want.
 
What are you looking for Funkyspelunker?

I mean, basic setup to start would seem (to me at least) to be video camera, + housing (+ red filter) I used that for a few years and have some nice videos to show from it (all in Tropics)
