Google+ reunites lost waterlogged camera, owner | Crave - CNET

In a story a bit reminiscent of the Great ScubaBoard Florida Keys-to-Aruba Camera Quest, a diver in British Columbia, Canada, found a DSLR (not in any housing) on the bottom. With the help of social networking, the camera and more importantly, the contents of the memory card, were reunited with the owners. The camera had been dropped from a boat over a year earlier.

Only down side of this story is apparently ScubaBoard wasn't involved. :(

Great story nonetheless!!!!

Gives me hope for my Olympus camera and housing that I lost at the Vickery on the St. Lawrence this summer. More upset about losing the SD memory card than the camera and housing. :depressed:

San Disk makes pretty hard core memory cards.
