i ha the sea life dc1000. do they make side bars with out the strobe so my video isnt all shaky? i have a home made one but its not to good.
 
Are you talking about handles?

Other manufacturers have implemented image stabilization "anti-shake" technology that does help a little with underwater video. My Canon P&S (A570) has the "IS" feature that I can turn on and off. I suspect that your video shakiness has a lot to do with you bouncing up and down in the water column. This will get better over time as you fine-tune your buoyancy control.
