Hello,

I found a camera over the weekend in Monterey, and I'd like to get it back to the owner if possible.

You can get in touch with me via e-mail or by phone at this number: 408-849-3714

Please leave a name/number, a clear description of the camera, the location/approximate time lost. If everything matches up, I'll get in touch with you.

PM sent. A diver asked me to look for it.

PM responded to, sorry, its not a match. Still looking for the owner. Thanks though!

If it's one of those cheap 35mm $22.00 underwater camera's from the local shops, we lost it a couple weeks ago diving the metridium fields. I know, big loss... But it had some pics on it we want. :D

I can say it is not that, it was found the weekend of my OW dives (April 6th ish). This camera the owner would want back.

Wow, its been a few months! :) Unfortunatly, what I found was neither the Olympus at Lobos nor the 35mm at the metridiums. Still looking for the owner!

Finding this camera did prompt me to include a read-only file on my current camera/memory card with my contact information, in case one day my luck runs out and I loose it. Chuck's recommendation of a plastic label (in the yahoo group posting) is excellent, especially if its lost long enough to say, flood the camera and kill the memory stick but the strobes are still fine. It'd be nice to get something back someday!

Good luck guys,

Ryan

I always figured if I lost my camera, I'd hope the person who found it would try as hard to find me.

Thanks for mentioning it though!

Ryan
