I was wondering if you can insert a camera catagory other than Oly, Nikon, Canon, perhaps a "other" sub cat.? Can't leave the rest of us out, ya know~!

That's what the main forum is for!
Personally, I'd like to see all the subforums for the particular brands go "poof". The vast majority of information on photography is going to relate to virtually any system - no matter who makes it.
And when you do ask a specific question on a specific model more ppl see it out here!

I'm in agreement with that. The only thing the subforums do is get fewer people to see the posts.
