I have an HV20 and Equinox case with just the control to start and stop recording. I added an external monitor, and tested it all in the pool. Everything works great.
What I'm trying to figure out is the best configuration for shooting HD in Coz.

I've read a lot of stuff regarding white balance and turning off the AF. I can't do a manual balance at depth but I did come up with an idea that might work well. I could bring a white card with me on the dive, shoot a few seconds of it to put a sample of white on tape, then use that info in the editing suite to adjust the colour. Has anyone tried this? Or am I missing something?
Turning off the AF is no problem, and the vignetting from the wide angle can be dealt with by zooming just a bit. It's just the white balance giving me fits.
If anyone has any other suggestions regarding settings for video in the blue at depths from 40 - 100 ft I'd be most appreciative.
