I go with Tom and CM. DiveRiteExpress has some good prices and their customer service/support is excellent. The stainless cam bands are great!

one more on the diveriteexpress band wagon. I have been dealing with them for years with no problems and the DR stainless steel cams are the best, they are what I have in my rental fleet.

Are these the ones that are $15 bucks on that link? Are these similiar to the scubapro straps?

Nope, they're part number BC2035 - $60.00 for a set of two.
May seem a bit pricey, but you won't break them!

I've never seen the hinge buckles, but those are the ones that are $15 at the link. You would need two.

I've used the cam buckle type and like them.

Get two of the $15 straps - they are like the grand old Scubapro straps and the best tank straps ever devised. The $60 for two straps are the cam-type. They're ok - I have some, but I still prefer the hinge-type.
The hinge-type make switching between 7" and 8" cylinders much easier also.

Thanks for the tips with the cam bands. I just purchased a koplin backplate and an oxycheq wing with a harness. Besides the tank straps there are a few other things I am wondering about. I will be diving singles...do I need a single tank adapter? If I want to avoid a weght belt are there pockets I can add to my harness in order to add weight? I looked at Dive Rite weight pockets but they seem a bit pricey?
