Dear fellow divers,

We are monitoring coral bleaching events around the world as part of the Catlin Seaview Survey.
We are calling on all divers around the world to help us qualify any serious and large scale coral bleaching events.

Could you please contact us if you have just witnessed mass coral bleaching where over 50% of the corals on a reef have bleached due to abnormally high water temperature.

We would welcome any photos/videos.

Thank your for your invaluable support.

Please contact us via Scubaboard.com or directly at rapideresponse@underwaterearth.org

Howdy and welcome to Scubaboard. :admingreet:

Look around the forums here for better places to post your needs.

I have no photo's but a professor and I have watched the bleaching over the years at a coral reef called "Double Reef" on Guam. You may want to contact the professors at the University of Guam Marine Laboratory. Many of them at the Marine Lab have traveled around the area diving for research for years and may even have data on the bleaching of the reefs. Good luck.... Adventure-Ocean
