I'm posting this contest in the SoCal forum (instead of contests) since it's only open only to those diving in SoCal.


The 3rd annual SoCal Shootout takes place September 13-15, 2013.

Join all of Southern California's underwater photographers in a weekend-long photography extravaganza. Dive anywhere in Southern California and submit your photos from the weekend for a chance to win over $14,000 in prizes.

• Categories for DLSR, Compact and Video.
• $14,000 in prizes includes several International and local trips, photo and dive gear and much more!
• Where Can You Dive? Anywhere south of Point Conception and north of the Mexico border.
• How does it work? Register at the link below. Bluewater Photo will email all registrants the evening before the contest with a specific date to set their cameras - this ensures all photos are shot during the contest window.
