California diver on mission to find Osama bin Laden's body

OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- A California man says he's heading to the north Arabian Sea to find Osama bin Laden's body.
Bill Warren makes his living discovering shipwrecks. The 59-year-old diver is plotting a two-week mission to recover bin Laden's remains.

Bin Laden was killed May 2 in Pakistan by U.S. Navy SEALs and was buried at sea. Warren says he wants to find the body so he can provide photographic evidence that the terror leader was indeed killed.

"It is the most exciting and maybe dangerous project," said Warren. ""I want to prove one way or the other that he is in fact dead."

In an interview with "Good Morning America" on Monday, Warren said he'll also perform independent DNA testing on the body.

Game time. Who can come up with the best alternative story title? I'll start...

"California diver on mission to spend all his money before that bi$#% of an ex-wife and her children can get it"

Really?? 1. Does he realize what this "body" is going to look like after 5 weeks (as of today) in the ocean? 2. "Warren said he'll also perform independent DNA testing on the body. " And compare it to what? Does he happen to have a sample of Osama's DNA handy? So he gets a DNA print - now what?

This guy is a publicity hound. What are the chances of him find a body in the Indian ocean - really?? Does he think the Seals are giving him GPS coodinates too?

Will he use rebreather or open circuit? Or semi-close circuit?

Other Peoples Money

Even if he had the GPS numbers it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack, they probably dumped him in a couple thousand meters of water.

My first thought when I herd this in the diamond knot brewery, was that he needed funding to go find ships in that area and who knows maybe bin would be on one of them. Never the less lets see what he finds.
