Hi all,

We are looking to hit Caba late Oct for a week. Baja Dive looks like a solid contender for the Dive Op. Most likely diving every day.

AS for hotels - we like easy and relaxing. leaning towards an all inclusive. The marina Fiesta is kinda close to Baja Dive. Can anyone send some other recommendations for a hotel in the marina area? Right now I am leaning towards no car too. Opinions on car or no car would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

we dove with Dive Cabo but chose to stay at Riu, only a 5 minutes ride in the collectivo, which we used everyday for 6 days without a problem
personally i would not saty in the marina area, way too crowded and even worse when 2-3 cruise ships come into port twice a week for couple of days
personally i would skip the car rental, unless you have some remote destinations in mind

We stayed at the Terrasol Resort. Best of both worlds: serene, quiet and private(no vendors or crowds) while being a 5-10 minute walk to the marina. We never needed a rental car. Occasionally took a cab when we were to lazy to walk back, but that was only a couple of dollars. So many wonderful places to eat in Cabo, personally I would skip the all inclusive route.

Hi t4e - Were you able to leave your gear with Dive Cabo in lockers overnight or did you need to haul it back and fourth daily? Thanks for the tip about the crowds and cruzers - we don't care for either. collectivo is the bus or cab system?

thanka
