Wow I have been Taking groups of Divers and snorklers to Cabo Pulmo for 16 years and I never had that happen.Your right about Easter week though a lot of caution is taken everywhere because of the Drinking of Alcohol.
Why dont you contact Mario Castro through there web site www.cabopulmo.com.mx and ask them what was going on and why.
