Hi all, is it worth making the 2 hour+ trek up to Cabo Pulmo from Cabo San Lucas the day of boarding a Socorro liveaboard? It sounds like an awfully long day, but Ive heard the diving is great, and I'm looking for a way to kill that day as we won't board the liveaboard until 7pm. Am diving the CSL marine park the day before. Any insights appreciated. Thanks.

Cabo Pulmo is definitely better diving than the marine park or the corridor, but doing it in a day-trip is Not Fun. That will be a long and tiring day.

See if you can get on a San Lucas boat that’s going out to the corridor that day instead; Chileno, Gavilanes, Whale’s Head…

Hmmmm, thanks.
