Anybody else see some of the madness there that day?
The water was pretty darn rough.
My buddy (Mark)and I did a 4:00am night dive there.
It sucked so bad we thumbed it after 15-20 minutes.
Mark then went on to rescue/help out about 8 overwhelmed divers.
The CG had to rescue a class.
I think Mark actually helped out their instructor at least once.
We would have bought him a Superman tee shirt if Aquarious carried them.
It was a great day to watch what not to do.

looks very doable this weekend..5 to 8 ft...
i'm itching to get back in the water, been 3 weeks:(

I thumbed it on friday night..looks like it was a good call!
Mark is the "Rescue Man!" We need to get him a iron on "S" for his drysuit!

Sorry Andy but isn't diving at 4:00 AM with "pretty darn rough" conditions madness as well? :)

Busted and guilty as charged.
I actually love doing them 4:00-5:00am dives.
No crowds, excellent parking, hop in in the dark, exit 90 minutes later in the light,do another dive or 2 and home by noon or so.
I normally wake up at 4:30 any way so it aint that bad.
Them early dives have the most going on as far as critters on the move.
I see more at this time than any other time.
Waves were kinda rough.
Best idea would have been coffee instead :).

Cool! Hard core my friend. What's up (meaning awake) in terms of critters? Please share becuase there 'aint a hope in hell that I'll ever be up that early. :)

I"ll be there this weekend again, weather still looking alright.

Ya the even better part about diving the B/W at that time of the morning, is the meter maid isn't even awake yet, and you have free parking for at least two dives.

If anybody needs a buddy for Sat., let me know. I'd love to get a dive or two in, but my buddy is working (and I think she also secretly hates diving in cold water).

Breakwater at 4am is out of the question, however.
