I have been to BVI twice and will be back in Nov. I grew up in NYC so the people do not seem rude to me, they seem efficient, busy and straight forward. We would laugh when we would walk into a sandwich shop and ask what was good, "The Ham and cheese" was the answer, ok says I, I'll have the roast beef, "we are making ham and cheese (idiot :D )", ok says I, "I'll have ham and cheese"

we went to a restaurant, same story they give us a menu and tell us "the specials are on the wall" as soon as someone tries to order off the menu they say "we are out of that the specials are on the wall" so we are slow but we catch on and order from the specials. I got up the nerve to ask why they hand out menus, the answer made a lot of sense, "we are a restaurant so we have menus" we learned, now we just have whatever the cook is cooking, it tastes the best and it is available, two things I like in food.

we have always chartered a boat and taken tanks so I have no idea what the best spots are I only know the 30 I have dived, and until I went to Bonaire considered it the best diving. I love the Indians, really special, It was my first dive in BVI and my first dive after many years of not diving, the fish balls I could sit and swim through for hours. the Baths is just a bunch of rocks until you start climbing on them and through them and discover the other beach and the caves and then you have to stop a second and think, why are there giant rocks here and no place else on any of the islands.

I love BVI, I love the people, I love the diving, I love the sailing. (I hate the taxi drivers)
